Brianna first learned clogging almost 40 years ago with Indian River Cloggers. Since

that time, a lot of growth has happened. She performed for several years with Indian

River Cloggers, Shuttle Shufflin’ Cloggers, and with Orlando Cloggers for the nationally televised Walt Disney World Christmas and Easter parades and danced with Lake Cumberland Cloggers while living in Kentucky. She also became the instructor for Shuttle Shufflin’ Cloggers and guest instructor Harbor City  cloggers, in addition to

teaching at several FCC State Conventions, Florida Clogging Festival, Florida Clogging

Workshop, Spring Fling Clogging Workshop, and Sunshine State Jamboree in Florida.

Brianna also founded and taught the Speed City Cloggers in Ormond Beach and then expanded her workshop teaching area to include stints in Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.

Brianna is not just an instructor, however. She is also the webmaster for Florida Clogging Council, created Clogging Exchange, has choreographed for several local theater shows, and was inducted into the Florida Clogging Council Hall of Fame for 2022! She is so excited to teach at the Sunshine State Jamboree again and can’t wait to 

see you there!

Jamie began clogging at 12 years old. By age 14 he started teaching and at 16 became the youngest Certified Instructor in Florida at that time! Jamie, along with his Mom Debbie Conn formed a performance group called Clogging Connection. It wasn’t long before they took a competition stage and he and his Mom successfully ran a competition clogging team for more than 35 years. The award winning team won more titles and trophies than there is time to mention. Jamie has dedicated his life to sharing his passion for clogging. He is most happy with a mic in his hand, on a stage, teaching routines at workshops. This fun loving, crazy guy will not only teach you a clogging dance, but will make you laugh and smile the entire time. Known for his crazy antics, don’t let the silliness fool you. He has an incredible amount of talent and knowledge that he is eager to share. 

He is a member of the All American team, Team of the Decade and Team of the Millennium through the prestigious America’s Clogging Hall of Fame. He was also named to the United Clogging Associations' Legacy team.  In 2022.

He was named Caller of the Year, inducted into the Florida Clogging Council’s Hall of Fame and recently was honored with the Betsey Farlow award for the Preservation of traditional Clogging. He has performed and taught all over the country. He and his better half Maureen joined forces with fellow clogger Matt Koziuk and formed an adult group the East Coast Connection which showcases the most traditional forms of clogging. This group has been 2 time World Champions! Jamie says his favorite part of Clogging is really being backstage with his dancers and giving them the “pep” talk before taking the stage. He is on a personal mission to keep traditional clogging alive!

 Hello, I'm Kaley Conn-Kirkland, owner of Studio CC, as well as director of Clogging Connection, located in Lakeland, FL. My background comprises extensive training and experience in various dance styles, with a concentrated focus on Clogging for 29 years. In my earlier years, I was inducted into the 2007 ACHF Junior All American team, and later into the ACHF 2010 team of the decade. I was also inducted into the Cadance National team and, most recently, was a 2022 CCA All Pro inductee and 2023 CCA All Pro Director. At 13 years old, I was the youngest ever certified Florida Clogging Council instructor. I participated in Folkmoot, an international festival, as a member of American Racket cloggers and won the title of Miss Southeastern clogger in 2018. I am presently the titleholder of 2024 Miss American Clogger, co-host the Miss Heart of Clogging pageant, teach at a multitude of workshops and studios across the nation, and hold a range of prestigious titles including CCA national champion duo, reigning NCHC national champion duo/duet, national champion soloist, and have guided my students to multiple National Champion team accolades. By sharing my passion for clogging, I hope to inspire kids to embrace their creativity, build confidence, and become the next generation of talented performers.

Dalita Diaz de Arce  is the director of the  Southern Rhythm, from Lake City FL.  Dalita has 34 years of dance training in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She started clogging 21 years ago with Andy Howard and has traveled internationally with American Racket. Dalita has been inducted into the ACHF Clogging Hall of Fame , ACHF Dancer of the Decade, Cadence All American Clogger, NCHC Hall of Fame  & The Florida Clogging Hall of Fame. Following her dreams and passion for all things dance and clogging she opened Southern Rhythm Dance Academy in 2017. Dalita is the mom to the cutest future cloggers Kherington & Callahan! With the love and support of her family she is excited to continue teaching & sharing her love of clogging!

 Matt Koziuk, a Jacksonville, Florida native, is a distinguished clogging instructor and performer with over 30 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Mars Hill University in North Carolina, where he was a member of the renowned Bailey Mountain Cloggers. During his tenure, he contributed to five national championships and participated in cultural exchange performances across Europe in 1997 and 2000.  

After college, Matt co-directed the Electric Rhythm Cloggers in Jacksonville, leading them to two State of Florida Championships and multiple regional accolades throughout the 2000s. In the 2010s, as captain of the Carolina Fusion Cloggers in central North Carolina, he secured three additional national titles, including Overall Traditional Team at the 2017 CCA Showdown of Champions and Overall Freestyle Team in 2018 and 2019 at the United Clogging Association’s World Championships.  

Matt is a sought-after instructor and certified competition judge, teaching at workshops and conventions both nationally and internationally. He has been a featured instructor at events such as the Great Texas Hoedown in Austin, Texas.   In 2020, he joined Wehner’s School of the Arts in Middleburg, Florida, where he continues to share his passion for clogging with students.

Marci is the mother of PowerTaps and the heartbeat of the studio! She started PowerTaps in 2003 shortly after moving to Cherokee County and the birth of her first daughter Riley. It all began with recreational clogging classes in the first studio location in Canton on Marietta Highway. It quickly grew to include performance clogging and within a few short years the team attended their first competition. The studio continues to grow, is now in our 5th location, and has 100+ cloggers and 6 competition level teams. PowerTaps is known locally, nationally and internationally and it all began with Marci’s desire to teach a little clogging in Cherokee County, GA!

Marci Rickard has been clogging since 1981 and in addition to dancing has 30 years of teaching and studio management experience! She began clogging as a child and danced with numerous teams including PowerTaps, Unlimited Power, Leather ‘n Lace, Bailey Mountain Cloggers, Southland Express, Mountain Echoes, and Chattahoochee Cloggers. Throughout her clogging career, she has had the privilege of dancing with and directing numerous National Championship clogging teams across multiple states. She was awarded a clogging scholarship to attend Mars Hill College, home of the National Championship Bailey Mountain Cloggers. As a sophomore at Mars Hill she helped Bailey Mountain earn its first national champion title. Marci is a graduate and Salutatorian of Mars Hill University with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Marci has traveled domestically and internationally performing and teaching clogging. A few highlights include clogging in the Opening Ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, Walt Disney World’s televised Easter Parade, Australian National Clogging Convention, and Ecuador’s International Fruit and Flower Festival. She performed at the very first National CLOG Convention. She has been recognized with the CCA Cup of Honor, a member of both the NCHC Hall of Fame and GA State Hall of Fame, and CCA All Pro Director. Marci is a founding Board Member of Clogging Champions of America (CCA) who established the renowned Showdown of Champions national championships. Together with her husband Ryan they organize and run America’s Clogging All*Stars which brings dancers from across the country together to perform in large events such as the London New Year’s Day Parade, Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, Nashville Christmas Parade and the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade to name a few. Professionally, Marci works for Southeast Restoration in Canton. Marci is married to Ryan Rickard and has two daughters, Bailey and Riley, who both enjoy clogging and now teach at PowerTaps. When not dancing and working she enjoys reading, running and spending time with family!
